Randy Guffey, Senior Partner, is a research expert with a background
in investigations, competitive intelligence, corporate and private research, due diligence and
information gathering. He has published and given national
presentations on research practices, has been an
on-the-air guest speaker for radio, and has extensively taught advanced levels of research and
investigations.
Randy is a former Vice President for Research & Technology with
Primary Focus, Inc., and Vice President for Information Services
with Executive Transitions, International, both senior executive
career management firms. Prior to this, he was a private
investigator operating in the south and along the eastern
seaboard of the U.S. He served for
several years as Manager of Investigations for one of Pinkerton's, Inc. largest southwest
District Offices. His clients have included
national and international news media, major law firms, Fortune 500 companies,
major non-profit organizations and universities. His
military service includes distinguished assignments with the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Office of the
Secretary of the Army as well as service overseas.
Randy
holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Management) from
National-Louis University and has done graduate work in
Information Systems Technology at George Washington University.
In addition, he has completed numerous courses and studies in
Information Science and Internet research. He currently
serves on the Board of Directors of a non-profit information
research company and
has previously been on the
Business Advisory Boards for the Chubb Institute and ECPI College of
Technology. He was a member of the Advisory Board for The
Salvation Army (Naples) from 2005 through 2007. In
addition to being a frequent volunteer to community
organizations, he has served as a Officer, Director or Board
Member for non-profits in Texas, Virginia and Washington, DC.
